Two BDP Installations to Be Featured On 2024 Residuals/Biosolids Conference Tours

The 2024 Residuals and Biosolids Conference will take place in Oklahoma City  from June 18th through June 21st. Two out of three WEF conference facility tours will feature BDP equipment.

Tour A will be held at the Midwest City compost facility on Thursday, June 20th from 8:00am-11:00am. This facility has been using BDP’s in-vessel composting equipment since 2014. A combination of biosolids and green waste are used to produce a class A compost product that is sold back to the community. The demand for compost is so high, that the City sells out of every compost batch and has a growing waitlist.

Tour B will be held at the City of Edmond’s Coffee Creek Water Resource Recovery Plant on Thursday, June 20th, from 1:00-4:00pm. This facility has been the site of phase 1 of an expansion and improvement project. The enhancements involve improvements to the liquid treatment and solids processing facilities that will increase the AAF capacity to 10 mgd and meet the new regulatory limit on nitrate.  This tour will highlight the various treatment processes at the plant, including (2) 3.0m 3DP Belt Presses that were installed in 2023.

Details to register for the conference/tours can be found on the WEF Residuals and Biosolids Website.

BDP personnel will be at booth 511 during the conference, be sure to stop by!
